Good Morning
Its been a long while peeps, but since my music management internship in Atlanta last summer, I relocated to Shreveport for a short spell with my long time love interest. Its been nearly a year since coming here, and the time is quickly approaching for me to return home to Oklahoma city. After this summer, ill be making the biggest move of my life, to New York. Ill be attending St. Johns University to finish my degree. ALONE. This will be the first time in my adult life I will be single, and I’m thrilled. I’m finally on the pursuit of happiness. Its feels so dope. :-)

#2 goes to Jada Pinkett Smith in the first and most memorable Tales from the Crypt film Demon Knight. Technically she is the only black woman to ever defeat the villain AND survive. Now, Jada is one of the toughest and most powerful actresses in film and one of the most legendary, and this moment is just one of the reasons why she is the epitome of a ‘REAL G’ (as my lil bro Jaden Smith would say ha). I salute you Mrs. Pinkett Smith. And just so y’all know what time it is, this movie is scary as hell so if you haven’t seen it and you’re into horror, you might wanna figure that out.

Ok so, Ive decided to give y’all my top 3 favorite black heroes of horror who have been the lone survivors making it to the end of the film with out getting bodied early in the game like it usually goes down in horror films. The “black person always gets killed” urban legend is true, but these are 3 black actors who were the only ones to defeat the villain and make it to the end credits.
ok, #3 Roland Kincaid from Nightmare On Elm Street 3 and 4 played by Ken Sagoes
Kincaid is most definitely my favorite black character in horror and technically the first black character in a horror movie to survive AND make it to a sequel. Now thats some real black history for dat ass hahaha This is the last 14 mins of the 3rd film, which has a bunch of dope scenes and classic lines from Kincaid. Check it out and you’ll see why this dude is one of the realest niggaz to ever be filmed, EVER!
